Inzko Congratulates on Christmas and Hanukkah

High Representative Valentin Inzko today congratulated all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina of Catholic faith on Christmas, it was announced from the OHR, writes Patria.

"Rarely does one feel such a need for happiness and warmth, for their loved ones, as during Christmas. This year, the basic message of Christmas, love for fellow humans, becomes even more significant as we live in a time burdened by challenges, wars, and conflicts. The birth of Christ is a holiday that encourages solidarity towards our neighbors because the path of giving is also the path by which we enrich ourselves and build a society based on universal values.

May the light of Nazareth that will illuminate your homes remain there, and may you carry love and peace in your hearts throughout the year. Today, as Catholics celebrate the arrival of Christmas, the Jewish holiday of freedom and light also begins. Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate it," said High Representative Inzko.
