UKCS Intervention Team Visited Konjević Polje and Cerska

An intervention team composed of 16 doctors and medical staff today examined 150 Bosniak returnees in Konjević Polje and Cerska, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

As confirmed for NAP by UKCS spokesperson Muamera Šehić, the patients were mostly chronic sufferers, as well as patients complaining of stomach and throat ailments. Four patients had skin conditions. In addition to medical assistance, UKCS employees donated food and water to the returnees in Konjević Polje and Cerska.

- Returnees in these locations currently have enough food and medicine, but they lack tools and machinery that would allow them to more quickly clear their properties damaged by landslides, Šehić told NAP.
