Heavier precipitation in western and northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina complicates traffic

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to snowfall that has affected most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is moving on wet and snow-covered roads in higher areas.  Movement is particularly difficult on roads in the western and northwestern parts of the country, where precipitation is more intense. 

Due to packed snow and ice, traffic has been suspended for trucks with trailers and semi-trailers on the main road Han Derventa-Podromanija. We also draw attention to roads in the areas of: Makljen, Laništa, Oštrelj, Karaula, Kupres, Šujica, Mliništa. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment.

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic alternates during the day using one lane, while traffic is suspended during the night hours (11:30 PM to 4:30 AM).

On the main road Jajce-Donji Vakuf, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates during the day using one lane. During the night hours (10 PM to 6 AM), traffic is suspended and diverted onto a bypass around the tunnel (the circle of the Metaling factory).

Traffic is slow due to works on the following road routes: Jablanica-Mostar (Komadinovo vrelo to the Begić and Begović bridge), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude), and Stolac-Hutovo (in the village of Cerovica).

Due to an active landslide, on the section of the main road Foča-Goražde (in the village of Filipovići), traffic is moving slowly using one traffic lane.
