Tax Administration inspectors in HNK conducted 32 controls, fines amounting to 52,100 KM issued

(Patria) - Inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH – Cantonal Tax Office Mostar, on 01/20/2026, conducted 32 inspections of taxpayers engaged in hospitality, trade, production and sale of bakery products, and other service activities in the areas of Mostar, Jablanica, Čapljina, and Čitluk.

The subject of the controls was the verification of compliance with the provisions of the Law on the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, the Law on Fiscal Systems in the Federation of BiH, the Law on the Unified System of Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions, the Law on Contributions, and other tax regulations.

During the inspections, 45 registered workers and 3 unregistered workers were found, as well as 13 taxpayers who had not registered turnover through a fiscal device.

Due to the identified irregularities, such as the employment of unregistered workers and the failure to register turnover through a fiscal device, one establishment was sealed, and in 17 controls, misdemeanor orders were issued with a total of 52,100.00 KM in fines.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH – Cantonal Tax Office Mostar will continue to conduct inspections continuously in the future. Taxpayers are therefore urged to align their business operations with current laws.

It is the legal obligation of every taxpayer to register every employee in the Unified System of Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions, to duly register all turnover through fiscal devices, and to regularly settle tax obligations in accordance with regulations, in order to avoid sanctions.
