Information on road conditions and border crossings

In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning, traffic is moving on mostly dry and occasionally wet roads, with good visibility. On the A-1 motorway on the Visoko-Dobrinje section, works are being carried out on the repair of expansion joints on the M6 bridge, due to which traffic is being redirected from the driving lane to the passing lane and vice versa. We also draw attention to the Podlugovi-Visoko section, where maintenance works are being carried out today. We appeal to drivers to adjust their driving to the announced works, reports the Patria news agency. 

Due to mine clearance works, traffic is periodically suspended on the M-4.2 main road Velika Kladuša-Bihać (in the village of Donji Purići from 08:00 to 16:00).

Today and for the next two days, due to the holding of the 14th Festival of Folklore Creativity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the M-14 main road Bosanska Krupa-Bosanski Novi in the village of Bosanska Otoka, traffic will be suspended from 19:00 to 19:30.

Due to road repair works on the R-455a regional road Svatovac-Živinice-Bašigovci-Lukavica-Zelenika, traffic will be completely suspended from 08:00 to 20:00. A detour route (Ljubače-Suha) is in operation, through which buses on regular lines will be allowed to pass at intervals of 30 to 40 minutes.

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the main roads Doboj-Gračanica, Čelinac-Kotor Varoš, Gorica-Vitina, Čapljina-Stolac and Brod na Drini-GP Hum, as well as the M-5 main road transit through Sarajevo.

At border crossings, waiting times are currently no longer than 15 to 30 minutes.  We remind drivers that the Gabela Polje border crossing is temporarily open as an international border crossing (until October 1st). Due to works in Croatia, traffic for freight vehicles is banned at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing. During the day, we expect increased vehicle traffic, both on roads in our country and at border crossings.
