Info-press centre on Baščaršija records record tourist visit in August

Since its establishment in 2012 until today, the Info-press Centre of the Stari Grad Municipality recorded its highest visit during the month of August, with nearly 2,000 tourists.

- The biggest reason for such a large number of tourists, a total of 1,991, coming to our centre is certainly the holding of the 23rd Sarajevo Film Festival, about which they sought the most information - said the employees, adding that tourists were also interested in our mountains, as well as numerous natural beauties of our city, which was not the case in previous years.

For comparison, in August 2015, the number of tourists seeking information at the municipal Info-press centre was 1,875.

- The list of countries from which visitors to our centre come is huge, and it truly includes all countries of our region and the European Union. We also record visits from tourists from the Middle East, Asia and Australia - they said at the centre, expressing satisfaction that most tourists are delighted with Sarajevo, which they consider, for its beauty, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
