Index.hr: War criminal Dario Kordić plays "contemporary Jesus"

War criminal Dario Kordić held mass for his followers again this weekend, writes the Croatian portal Index.hr, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Kordić was a guest at the pastoral center in Mukinje, Lika, at the presentation of a book written about him by Mladen Pavković and Miroslav Piplica.

Kordić's entire speech was recorded in a video by the portal Likaplus, which reports that the war criminal's speech brought tears to everyone present at the forum.

Kordić spoke at the forum holding a rosary in his hand. He talked about his "encounter with God in a prison cell," where he ended up due to the massacre of 116 civilians in Ahmići. If Kordić is to be believed, he spent his prison days in prayer, and every day he sprinkled his cell with holy water. Above his bed, he says, he had a cross, and on the table a picture of the Madonna, writes Index.hr, reports Patria. 

How immersed Kordić is in his newfound role as "contemporary Jesus" is shown by his story about a fellow inmate who allegedly taped a picture of Satan to his wardrobe. Kordić claims that he prayed for this inmate every day, until one day the inmate told him: "Dario, Satan is going into the closet today, and you give me the picture of the Mother of God to tape to the wardrobe." 

The war criminal, who was welcomed with open arms by the Catholic Church upon his arrival from Zagreb, also recounted how he "blessed Croatia from the air" on his flight to Croatia, and how he kissed the ground at Zagreb Airport. Kordić is convinced that the Holy Spirit spoke through him at Zagreb Airport, as well as at the forum in Lika. 

He also revealed to those present that his goal is to study theology and "embark on the path of testimony and prayer for his people." In prison, he says, the hardest part was being separated from his four children. He claims that his 19-year-old daughter slept in the bed between him and his wife on the first night after he was released from prison.
