SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The air quality index in Sarajevo at 6 a.m. this morning was 424! At the US Embassy measuring station, the index was 469! Such air can have serious consequences possible for the entire population!
“During outdoor stays, any exertion should be avoided. The most vulnerable categories of the population: pregnant women, the elderly and children, people with respiratory and heart problems, should stay indoors!”, is the warning from Eko akcija.
The air is EXTREMELY dangerous for health, pollution is far greater even compared to Australia where fires are raging.
This is the result of a prolonged inversion which, unfortunately, according to models, will last for some more time.
