Gunfire was heard this morning in front of the Atik mosque in Janja, and according to eyewitnesses, men from a column of cars that stopped on the main road Bijeljina – Zvornik insulted believers returning from morning prayers on a national basis.
Shots were fired into the air, and harsh, fascist-chauvinistic words were uttered by a group of men who were transporting a Yule log in their cars.
Bosniaks in Janja are disturbed and outraged by these unprovoked provocations, insults, and threats.
The incident has been reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, which is expected to find the perpetrators of this act.
