Appointment of New Sarajevo Canton Government at KS Assembly Session on November 15

(Patria) - The decision to confirm the Government of Sarajevo Canton will be on the agenda of the 11th Working Session of the Canton Assembly scheduled for November 15, 2023, it was decided at today's session of the Assembly Collegium.

After the Government designate Nihad Uk submitted the proposed composition of the new Government to the Assembly Speaker Elvedin Okerić, and after a positive opinion from the Assembly Commission for Elections and Appointments on this proposal, the deputies will vote on the appointment of the Prime Minister and ministers in the KS Government at this session.

Also on the agenda of the same session will be reports on the work and financial operations of public institutions in the fields of health, labor and social protection, cultural institutions, as well as reports on the work of cantonal public utility companies for the past year.

The Assembly will also vote on the work of the Legal Defense Office of Sarajevo Canton and the Cantonal Office for Providing Free Legal Aid, as well as the work of the Independent Board for the same period.

Reports on the work of the Public Complaints Committee and the Public Enterprise "Television of Sarajevo Canton", as well as the Report on the Execution of the Budget of Sarajevo Canton for the period from 01.01. to 31.12.2022, are also on the agenda of this session.

The reporting part of the assembly will conclude with a presentation of the work results of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the degree of realization of the Gender Action Plan of Sarajevo Canton for the period from 2019 to 2022, and the Report on the realization of the Return Plan to and from Sarajevo Canton for the period 01.01.-31.12.2022.
