Presidents and Deputy Presidents of Polling Committees Appointed for 2024 Local Elections, but Not in Full

(Patria) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session, among other things, adopted the Decision on the appointment of presidents and deputy presidents of polling committees for the 2024 Local Elections.

The Decision appointed 5,753 presidents of polling committees and 4,439 deputy presidents of polling committees. The missing presidents and deputy presidents of polling committees will be additionally appointed once conditions are met. The said decision will be published on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina and an objection may be
filed within 72 hours.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from the establishment of lists and the list of candidates for presidents and deputy presidents of polling committees, removed 806 candidate names, of which 340 because they were listed as candidates on candidate lists (Elections 2020, 2022, and 2024), the remaining number was removed due to withdrawal or possibly due to ties with political parties for which it was determined that they are activists of political parties.
