The KS Government, led by Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković, today appointed the president and members of the Management Board of the KS Health Insurance Fund, after first significantly increasing the compensation for the Management Board members with a Decision published on July 21 in the Official Gazette of KS.
The President of the Management Board is Hamid Milak, and the members are Aida Haverić, Esad Hrvačić, Emina Kasumagić-Halilović, Zlatan Tabaković, Emina Hadžimuratović-Hadžipašić, Benjamin Kulovac, Muamer Efendić, and Vedina Čordalija, writes the Patria News Agency. We remind you that the coalition at the KS level consists of SDA, SBB, and BPS. Samir Turković (SDA) was previously appointed head of the KS Health Insurance Fund.
Otherwise, the Decision made by Konaković's government is in complete contradiction with the adopted Law on Salaries and Compensation from the end of February, which stipulates that the Management Board of a public institution receives a maximum of 50 percent of the average net salary paid in FBiH in the last three months for its work, and its members a maximum of 40 percent. With this decision, the Government exempted the members of the Management Board of public health institutions founded by KS and set the compensation for the President of the Management Board of the KS Health Insurance Fund at 720 KM per month, and for the members at 600 KM!
The average salary in FBiH for the last three months is around 830 KM.
After the completion of the tender procedure, the KS Government appointed the Management Board, which will be well compensated for its (in)action.
