Management Board of the Federal Fund Appointed

The Government of the Federation of BiH today adopted a Decision on the appointment of members of the Management Board of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Disaster-Stricken Areas on the Territory of the Federation of BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The President of the Management Board is, ex officio, the Prime Minister of FBiH Nermin Nikšić, and the members are, also ex officio, the Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Adil Osmanović, the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Enver Bijedić, the Federal Minister of Spatial Planning Desnica Radivojević, the Federal Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry Jerko Ivanković-Lijanović, the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Erdal Trhulj, the Mayor of Maglaj Municipality Mehmed Mustabašić on behalf of the Association of Municipalities and Cities of FBiH, and the Vice-President of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of BiH and President of the Independent Trade Union of Coal Mine Workers of FBiH Sinan Husić.

Members of the Fund's Management Board include three representatives of donors, proposed by the Employers' Association in the Federation of BiH: Safudin Čengić, Petar Ćorluka, and Zehra Obralija.

The Management Board manages the Fund in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Establishment of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Disaster-Stricken Areas on the Territory of FBiH, the statute and other general acts of the Fund, and other laws and regulations.
