Names of Caesar's Associates in BiH and the Region: From the Sarajevo Mafia Family Kilerdži to the Slovenian Mafia Family Kadivec

(Patria) - When Satko Kekić entered a casino in a Ljubljana hotel a few hours before his murder, he was followed by three men from Sarajevo. Through surveillance cameras, Slovenian police identified two of them – Abdurahman Krimi and Adin Memić. Later, during the investigation conducted after the murder, police found DNA traces on the devices used to track Satko Kekić. Investigators suspect these DNA traces belong to Memić and Krimi, writes Istraga.ba.

Adin Memić has long been known to law enforcement agencies. Last January, he shot and wounded two people in the “Que pasa?” establishment in the Džidžikovac neighborhood of Sarajevo.

Memić and Krimi were arrested this morning in Sarajevo. Along with four other members of the criminal group led by Dino Muzaferović, known as Caesar. The leader of this group, Dino Muzaferović, has been in Slovenian custody since December 5th last year. He is the primary suspect in the murder of Satko Kekić, his fellow citizen from Velika Kladuša, who had previously cooperated with the police and whom Dino Muzaferović's criminals had labeled as an informant.

In addition to Memić and Krimi, members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with EUROPOL, arrested at least three more associates of Dino Muzaferović. Alen Fazlagić was arrested in Vogošća. He is also known to the police. He led a criminal group that was sentenced to a total of 11 years in prison in 2018 for drug trafficking, robbery, kidnapping, and arms smuggling. The fourth person arrested is named Tamer Kilerdži. He is one of the most dangerous criminals in Sarajevo who, along with his brother Džaner and father Senad, was arrested for drug trafficking. The Kilerdži family is currently involved in the hospitality business and owns several establishments in Sarajevo (Ciglane neighborhood).

Kilerdži is also known for being kidnapped while mediating between members of two warring Montenegrin clans – Škaljarski and Kavački. Dario Delibašić was arrested for his kidnapping. It was Kilerdži who connected Dino Muzaferović with members of other criminal groups from Europe.



The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced that police from Sweden are also participating in this international operation. As Istraga.ba has learned, Muzaferović's criminal group collaborated with criminal groups in Scandinavia, which they effectively armed with automatic weapons.

Below, we present the names of the most significant members of Dino Muzaferović's criminal group, known as Caesar, whom state prosecutor Džermin Pašić effectively allowed to escape from BiH during Operation Escobar.

Dino Muzaferović, known as Caesar, born in Velika Kladuša, is married to Slovenian citizen Špela Kovač.



Špela Kovač is the sister of Drejc Kovač, a member of Klemen Kadivec's criminal group, whom the police associate with the Kavački clan. Kadivec and Kovač are currently facing two criminal proceedings in Slovenia for drug trafficking, murders, and other criminal activities.

Among Dino Muzaferović's closest associates are Darko Jovanović and Marija Zovko from Croatia. When Croatian police seized drugs from them in April 2020, Dino Muzaferović's fingerprints were found on the packages. Furthermore, Jovanović was part of a group that produced marijuana on the border between BiH and Croatia. Jovanović was sentenced to four and a half years in prison by the court in Bihać. He was one of those arrested in Operation Escobar when state prosecutor Džermin Pašić failed to arrest Dino Muzaferović.

It was through Marija Zovko that Muzaferović was stationed in Zagreb for a period. According to EUROPOL data, Dino Muzaferović rented a house in Zagreb, Potočani 62, introducing himself to the owner as Danijel Tatić, born 07/09/1986, with a fake Slovenian ID card.



While Muzaferović was staying in Zagreb, his liquidation was reported to the police. The information about the planned murder of Dino Muzaferović was reported to the police by Satko Kekić, whom Dino Muzaferović himself murdered two years later.

“Satko Zovka and Sani Šabanagić reported that two men were staying in an apartment in Zagreb, Loparska street no. 3, planning the murder of Dino Muzaferović, and about a meeting at the Arena Zagreb shopping center with an unknown person nicknamed 'Putin',” the Croatian police document stated.

Surveillance camera footage later confirmed this story. Aleksandar Srnić, known as Putin, from Serbia, and Miodrag Mijanović from BiH met at Arena.



When Croatian police arrested two BiH citizens, Edin Balić and Adnan Žilić, in Zagreb in September 2022, a large quantity of drugs was found in their apartment on Loparska Street in Zagreb.



This apartment was also rented by Dino Muzaferović, using a fake Slovenian ID card.

In December 2022, Dino Muzaferović was arrested in Germany. He was accompanied by Turkish citizen Hasan Deniz CANGUR, born 12/25/1990, with whom he was connected by Tamer Kilerdži. Muzaferović was found with a fake Slovenian ID card in the name of Samir Deljanin. A Slovenian ID card in the name of Rok Grašić, born 11/24/1992, was also found in the car. After his arrest in Germany, Muzaferović was extradited to Italy, from where he organized drug and arms smuggling from prison.
