They have 41 mandates: Krivokapić, Bečić and Abazović signed an agreement

(Patria) - The leaders of three electoral lists that won 41 parliamentary seats in the parliamentary elections in Montenegro – Zdravko Krivokapić, Aleksa Bečić and Dritan Abazović signed an agreement today, by which they committed, among other things, that the new government will not initiate any initiatives or procedures aimed at changing the state flag, coat of arms, and anthem.

Krivokapić claims that the course of these three coalitions will be pro-Montenegrin, reports CDM. 

“Montenegro’s approach to negotiations with the European Union was declarative, and we want it to be substantive. The Law on Freedom of Religion now endangers the property of the SPC in this case. We will fight against organized crime and corruption. This is a fight for Montenegro. We are not participants in any scandal. If you find us in any scandal, please do not spare us,” he said at a press conference that is currently underway.

According to Bečić, this agreement is the best response to attempts to create an artificial crisis. He claims that the new government will be reconciling and pro-European and will serve Montenegro and the state.

“We will respect the Constitution and there will be no initiatives to change state symbols. Our goal is to strengthen civic Montenegro. We will not go back to the past. There will be no revenge, but there will be responsibility, order, and work. The formation of a new democratic government awaits us. There is no exclusion of any individual, but expertise comes first. I believe that the days of counting are behind us. We want life to be better for the citizens of Montenegro,” said Bečić.

Abazović is convinced that the agreement is the greatest historical achievement in the last decade. He announced that this majority will have the support of the international community.

“The future government should urgently address the economic situation in the country. An empty treasury awaits us. The fight against corruption and crime awaits us. No more. With this, all of DPS’s manipulation dies. A new page in the history of Montenegro’s political life. Montenegro of the nineties has been trampled, and European Montenegro has won,” said Abazović.

He says they easily reached a solution.

“A lot of work awaits us. Any delay is not good for the citizens. These three must be dedicated to every citizen,” he added.
