(Patria) - Over the past few days, the chances for NES and Sarajevo's 'Trojka' to overthrow the current government in the Una-Sana Canton have diminished hour by hour. Today, those chances are almost non-existent after MP Samir Ikanović, who left DF two weeks ago and joined NES, decided today to return to his old party, according to Avaza portal's findings.
According to earlier reports, SDA informed SDP and NiP this morning to declare by the end of the day whether they would overthrow the government with NES or remain with them in the Government, to end this saga. They told them they had received the support of two MPs to further strengthen the majority.
It was previously claimed that NES had nine MPs, SDP and NiP had three each, and one MP from SBiH was supposed to support the overthrow of the USK Government.
However, it is now clear that NES no longer has nine MPs, and without some major turnarounds, it is difficult to expect the USK Government to be overthrown, as these parties have the support of only 15 out of 30 MPs, and they are one vote short, and there were also reports that one of the NiP MPs was having second thoughts.
What further neutralized the attempt by NES and 'Trojka' is the fact that POMAK withdrew from the coalition after their demand for the prime minister position was not met.
