As long as we take individuals at their word and fight against the system, the result will be discrimination directed at our children and pushed to the sidelines, it is stated in a reaction by Edin Ikanović, coordinator of the Coalition First March, regarding the non-issuance of booklets to Bosniaks in Srebrenica, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
- Once again, we have shown in practice that we are poor negotiators. It has long been made clear that we and our children are not and cannot be in the same position as the people of the "first class," i.e., the Serbs.
We should not have allowed ourselves to be so naive and to believe the minister's word the moment we decided to boycott classes in Srebrenica and Zvornik, because at that moment we had before us the example of parents and children from Konjević Polje and Vrbanjci.
The fight for values such as language must be unified across the entire territory of the RS entity, from Višegrad to Bosanski Novi, only then will we show our seriousness and defend our dignity.
