Players optimistic: Despite injuries, we have only one goal - victory

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team is preparing at the NS/FS BiH Training Center in Zenica for the European Championship qualifier against Israel, and the players are unanimous in the opinion that despite numerous injuries, our team can get points in Haifa, reports the Patria news agency.

-       Unfortunately, there are many injured footballers, but we have a clear goal and we are going for the win. Israel will have great support from their fans, it will be difficult and we must give our maximum to achieve the result we desire - said Toni Šunjić.

Young midfielder Goran Zakarić believes in his teammates.

- The injuries of standard players represent a big handicap, but we need a victory. Whoever plays will certainly give their best to take the three points that would mean a lot to us on the road to the European Championship in France - Zakarić pointed out.

Gojko Cimirot also believes we can achieve a positive result.

- We have been hit by a great misfortune with injuries to standard national team players. We will not give up. I am sure that the coach will put together a good team and that we will achieve a favorable result - Cimirot noted.
