IGK Sends Message to Chicago Genocide Deniers Who Tried to Annul Resolution

(Patria) - The Institute for Genocide Research Canada sent a message to the Chicago genocide deniers in BiH who tried to annul the unanimously adopted Resolution on the Genocide in Srebrenica in the City Council of Chicago.

"Our choice is truth, justice, and a culture of remembrance. This is a time of truth and justice in which you have no chance. You have bombarded the members of the Chicago City Council in vain with pseudo-books by pseudo-authors that deny the historical, judicial, and scientific facts about the genocide in BiH. You have threatened the Institute for Genocide Research Canada in vain. You have misused the media against truth and justice, spreading lies in vain.

You have no chance in your immoral activity. We, fighters for truth and justice, in cooperation with human rights and freedom activists and genocide researchers, standing on the right, human side of history, stand with our heads held high for truth and justice, with the survivors of genocide. Because the battle for BiH is first won on the field of truth, justice, and institutional culture of remembrance.

With a just resolution, the Chicago City Council has learned a lesson from the aggression against BiH and the genocide against its citizens, especially Bosniaks, or we will face non-existence. In Canada, that lesson about aggression and genocide has already been learned.

We have shown how powerful a weapon is in the fight against hate crimes: education about the genocide in Srebrenica, because hatred led to genocide.
