Three victims of the past war identified at the Memorial Center in Tuzla

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Three victims of the past war were identified today at the Memorial Center in Tuzla.

These are victims of Bosniak nationality exhumed from the Ramin grob mass grave in Zvornik, while the remains of one person were taken over from the Republic of Croatia, the Institute for Missing Persons announced.

The identities of the victims were determined based on DNA analysis, and today their identities were officially confirmed by their family members.

Thus, Idriz (Meho) Dautović, born in 1963 near Zvornik, was officially identified. He disappeared in May 1992, and his remains were exhumed in 1998 from the Ramin grob mass grave, Zvornik municipality.
Family members also identified Mahmut (Redžo) Miralemović, born in 1930 in Križevci. He also disappeared in May 1992, and his remains were also exhumed from the Ramin grob mass grave in Zvornik.
Emir (Alija) Ćemanović, born in 1964 in Derventa, was identified today. He disappeared in July 1992, and his remains were exhumed in 2016 in Osijek, where he was buried as an unidentified person.

Shortly after the exhumation, it was determined that he was a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his body was taken over from Croatia.
