Three Victims of the Past War Identified

(Patria) - Three victims of the past war were identified today at the premises of the Podrinje Identification Project in Tuzla. They are victims of Bosniak ethnicity who went missing during 1993 and 1995 in the areas of Srebrenica and Bratunac.

The identity of these victims was first established through DNA analysis after the exhumation of their remains, and today their identity was confirmed by their family members.

Today, Hajdarević (Safeta) Mevludin, born in 1970 in Srebrenica, was identified. He went missing in March 1993 at the Kragljivoda site, Srebrenica. His remains were exhumed at this site in May 2008.

The family also confirmed the identity of Bajramović (Senahid) Suad, born in 1962 in Miholjevići. He also went missing in 1993 in the Kragljivoda area. His remains were also exhumed at this location in May 2008.

Bektić (Sado) Munib, born in 1951 in Karačići near Srebrenica, was also identified. He went missing in July 1995 in the village of Burnice, Bratunac. His remains were exhumed in December 2008 at the Kamenica site, Zvornik.
