Ideal Conditions for Skiing and Great Atmosphere at OC Bjelašnica and Igman

Snowfall and well-prepared slopes at OC Bjelašnica and Igman have created ideal conditions for enjoying winter sports on the Olympic beauties near Sarajevo. This is supported by the numerous skiers who decided to spend a sunny December Sunday on Bjelašnica and Igman.

OC Bjelašnica was the first in the region to open the ski season, and its return to the map of significant ski destinations in the region and beyond is confirmed by the large number of visitors from neighboring countries.
On Bjelašnica, the six-seat chairlift and the lifts „K1“, „BY“ and „Heliodrom“ are operational today, while on Igman, the two-seat chairlift and baby lift have been operational since today. Additionally, on Bjelašnica during December, night skiing is available to skiers on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

Final works are also underway on the construction of the double „BX“ lift, which will increase capacity from 600 to 2,250 skiers per hour. ZOI'84 announces that they have put the new „BX“ lift installation into test operation today, and that skiers will soon be able to enjoy a new skiing experience.

We remind you that the necessary permits for the construction of the „BX“ lift arrived in October of this year. The management of ZOI'84 took the risk and, together with the company Doppelmayr, the world's most famous lift manufacturer, began construction of the „BX“ lift with the desire to offer skiers better skiing conditions this season.

„As a long-time skier, I fully understand the needs of our users. Investments in the double „BX“ lift will improve current conditions, but the real change can only be seen by connecting Bjelašnica and Igman, and building 5 new lifts and gondolas, as well as trails. A difficult path lies ahead of us, and we are ready for it,“ says Jasmin Mehić, director of ZOI'84.
