IDDEEA announced tender for the procurement of passport books

The Agency for Identification Documents, Data Exchange and Customs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) today announced a tender for the procurement of passport books. This implements the conclusion of the Council of Ministers of BiH from the session held on 16.2.2017, which tasked IDDEEA, within its legal mandate and in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement, to take available urgent measures so that citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are not deprived of the right to a passport after March 21 this year, Patria reports.

Given that this is a procurement procedure that the Law on Public Procurement prescribes in cases where reasons of extreme urgency can be proven, we believe that this procedure will be completed on time and that the continuity of passport issuance will continue uninterrupted after March 21.
