IDDEEA and HJPC BiH Sign Cooperation Agreement: Digital Data Exchange in Service of Justice and Transparency

(Patria) - Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Data Records and Exchange (IDDEEA) BiH Almir Badnjević and President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) BiH Sanin Bogunić today signed a Mutual Cooperation Agreement that opens a new chapter in improving digital data exchange and strengthening the integrity of the judicial system in BiH.

The agreement enables electronic and automatic data exchange between the two institutions, in accordance with applicable laws on personal data protection and information secrecy. The focus of the cooperation is the efficient and transparent verification of asset and interest declarations of judges, prosecutors, and members of the HJPC BiH.

This cooperation aims to strengthen the capacities of the HJPC BiH in preventing and detecting conflicts of interest, potential irregularities, and unacceptable influences within the judicial community. At the same time, it represents another step towards the digitalization of public administration and more transparent work of BiH institutions.

IDDEEA BiH, as the holder of the development of infrastructure for identification documents and data exchange at the state level, confirms its key role in the development of a functional, efficient, and digitally connected state through this cooperation.

The signatories emphasized their joint commitment to professionalism, legality, and inter-institutional trust as the foundations of a stable and just society.
