Ibro Basarić sets world record in one-wheeled bicycle riding

Čapljina cyclist Ibro Basarić today set a world record in one-wheeled bicycle riding in Mostar, held at Sjeverni logor in Mostar, reports Patria agency.

Basarić set the record in Mostar by riding a section in 12.55 seconds, breaking the previous record of 12.74 seconds.

- I am happy, I practiced the start for a long time, I was a little worried about the wind, but in the end, thank God, everything turned out well - said Basarić.

The selector of the BiH football event, Mehmed Baždarević, was a special guest at the record-breaking attempt.

He said that he gladly responded to the record attempt, and that he came with pleasure to support the young cyclist who should be a pride for Bosnians and Herzegovinians.
