(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo has issued a first-instance verdict and sentenced Ibrahim Hadžibajrić to a prison term of six months for the criminal offense of violation of labor rights.
At the same time, the verdict prohibits him from holding the position of mayor for 4 years after the verdict becomes legally binding.
In May 2023, the Municipal Court in Sarajevo confirmed the indictment of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office against Hadžibajrić for the criminal offense of violation of labor rights. He is accused of unlawfully dismissing six civil servants and employees in the Municipality of Stari Grad from March 2020 to March 2021.
