Ibišević: We can pass the group stage in Brazil

Bosnia and Herzegovina can pass the group stage at the World Cup in Brazil, said Vedad Ibišević, a Bosnian national team player and scorer of the decisive goal in the qualifiers, for "Dawn", the most famous Pakistani daily in English, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

The Pakistani newspaper, in an extensive interview with Ibišević, states that his goal in Kaunas was a historic moment for Bosnian football.

- That is definitely one of the happiest moments in my career. I think that due to everything I have been through, I deserved to score that decisive goal - said Ibišević in an interview conducted in cooperation with the company "Red Bull". Ibišević says, as reported by NAP, that his most important task now is to prepare maximally for Brazil and maintain his best form.

- The World Cup means a lot for BiH. We will promote our country at the biggest world football festival. It is a big step forward and an opportunity to advertise BiH in a way. Some will surely hear about our country for the first time then - states Ibišević.

He says that he will try to secure survival with his performances in Stuttgart, and then give his best for the national team in Brazil.

- It is not the same to play for a club and the national team. Our group is tough, but it could have been worse. There are no easy opponents at the World Cup. We play attacking football because we have such players - said Ibišević.
