Trend of increased tourist arrivals and overnight stays in Sarajevo Canton continued in March

(Patria) - In March, Canton Sarajevo was visited by 40,449 guests, and 92,109 overnight stays were realized, which is 4.5% more visits and 7.7% more overnight stays compared to the same month in 2024.

Statistical data from the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board shows that the majority of guests were from Turkey, Croatia, Serbia, China, Slovenia, Italy, Montenegro, Germany, Great Britain, and the USA.

An increased number of arrivals and overnight stays was also recorded during the first three months of 2025, with a 11.1% increase in arrivals and a 16.3% increase in overnight stays compared to the same period (January - March) in 2024.

- These are excellent and expected results that show us we are on the right track in promoting Sarajevo as a tourist destination to visit in 2025.

We continue to support good tourism projects that will attract tourists to come and stay longer in Sarajevo, and we promote our tourism potentials worldwide.
