(Patria) - The Competition Committee of the FA of BiH, at a session held today in Sarajevo, made a conclusion on the completion of all competitions for the 2019/20 season, because "there are no conditions for the continuation of competitions within the Premier League and BiH Cup throughout the country" (decision of the RS Crisis Staff).
It was announced that FK Sarajevo is the new champion, and that NK Čelik and FK Zvijezda 09 are leaving the league as the two last-placed teams, whose president Boris Stanišić plans to sue the Football Association of BiH. FK Olimpik and FK Krupa will play in the Premier League next season.
As for qualifying for Europe, along with Sarajevo, which will represent us in the Champions League qualifiers, second-placed Željezničar, third-placed Zrinjski, and fourth-placed Borac have qualified for European competitions.
These decisions have now been confirmed by the Executive Board of the Football Association of BiH at tonight's session. We unofficially learn that one vote was against, writes sportsport.ba
The new Premier League season will most likely start on August 1st/2nd.
