NIP ALSO DIVIDED: Trojka blocked the positive report of the Fund led by Lejla Khattab, will a new director be appointed?

(Patria) - The report on the work with the financial report of the Sarajevo Canton Fund for the construction of apartments for the families of martyrs and fallen soldiers, war invalids, demobilized soldiers and displaced persons for 2022 did not receive the necessary support from the deputies in the KS Assembly today, although the report received all the praise from the relevant minister and the deputies.

The Fund is headed by Lejla Khattab, a former SDA cadre, and now Narod i Pravda.
Those who watched the KS Assembly session and followed the voting on previous items saw an interesting situation. After the Report on Work for 2022 and the Report on Financial Operations for the period 01.01.-31.12.2022 of the Public Institution “Sarajevo Canton Memorial Fund”, headed by Ahmed Kulanić, also a NIP cadre, was adopted with 22 votes, some deputies literally fled the session while the Speaker of the KS Assembly Elvedin Okerić was reading the next item for voting on the Fund's report.

Sanela Klarić (Naša stranka), Belma Kapo (SDP), Samir Avdić (SDP), Davor Čičić (SDP) left the session.

11 deputies voted for the report, and in the individual vote, there were 12 votes in favor.

What is interesting is that the Narod i Pravda deputies voted differently, even though it is a cadre of their party. Aljoša Čampara and Mersiha Mehmedagić supported the report, while Elvedin Okerić, Elvis Vreto, Arijana Memić, Danijela Kristić and Rusmir Pobrić abstained.

Present deputies from SDA, Stranka za BiH and DF, as well as two deputies from SDP BiH, voted for the report, while three deputies from Naša stranka abstained.

Redžo Lemezan, who sought this institution in the formation of the new parliamentary majority, also abstained.

Let us remind you, Lemezan is part of a package with Damir Marjanović (ZNG), who received two ministries in the new KS Government, namely the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Youth and Finance. Marjanović was not present at today's session as he is the director of an institute in Zagreb and is staying there.

Whether Lejla Khattab will be replaced soon so that the cadre of the new partners can be appointed will be shown very soon.
