March 1st, Independence Day of BiH, marked in Ilidža as well

The Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, and representatives of the Ilidža Municipal Council, led by Chairman Tarik Stambolić, on the occasion of marking March 1st - Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, paid tribute to martyrs and fallen soldiers by laying flowers at the central memorial in Ilidža and at the monument to the fighters of the National Liberation War (NOR) (Ossuary monument).

“On this occasion, we once again congratulate the citizens on one of the most significant dates in the history of modern Bosnia and Herzegovina. We remind everyone that it is our obligation to cherish the memory of those who gave their lives for the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that it is our duty to continue building a better, more beautiful, and more prosperous Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Mayor Muzur and Chairman Stambolić.

Representatives of political parties, associations, and organizations from the area of this municipality attended the commemoration.
