BOTH THE CLUB AND HORDE ZLA ISSUED STATEMENTS: Police in Posušje beat a Sarajevo fan because he wanted to perform his prayer!

(Patria) - The fan association of the Sarajevo Football Club - Horde zla issued a statement to the public, followed by FK Sarajevo, regarding the police attack on a FK Sarajevo fan. We are publishing both statements in full. FK Sarajevo played a match in Posušje today, which ended 0:0.

"Members of our group left the stadium in Posušje after an attack by police officers of the West Herzegovina Canton on one of our members in Posušje, who was physically assaulted and beaten only because he went to perform a prayer during the match break.
We will not tolerate any form of violence, discrimination, or insulting anyone's religion or beliefs, regardless of the circumstances. The attack on our member is not only an attack on him personally, but an attack on all of us, on our honor and the principles we consider fundamental.

In this situation, we ask a clear question: how is it possible that a member of our group, who came to support his club, was attacked only because he went to perform a religious rite in peace? Who benefits from the manifestation of fascism and nationalism in this way? Such behavior by police officers of the West Herzegovina Canton is not only a violation of basic human rights, but also directly threatens the freedom of religion and personal freedoms of all citizens.

Horde zla will continue to stand by every one of its members, in the fight for rights, freedom and dignity, and we will never allow ourselves to be intimidated or silenced," the statement said.

The Sarajevo Football Club FK condemned the physical attack on the fans and the way they were treated during today's match in Posušje.

"It is incomprehensible and unjustifiable that our fans did not attend the match for even 30 minutes, and that they experienced a physical attack and numerous other inconveniences.

As a club, we always strive to be a fair host to all guests and expect the same treatment towards our fans. We call on the competent institutions to sanction those responsible for the attack on FK Sarajevo fans without delay," the statement said.
