(Patria) - Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan and RS Police Director Siniša Kostrešević met yesterday in Banja Luka with the Commander of EUFOR, Major General Helmut Habermayer, and his associates.
This information was released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
“The security situation in Republika Srpska and the security challenges they are facing were discussed at the meeting, during which the security situation was assessed as satisfactory,” it was stated.
The question is how the security situation is satisfactory, given that in recent weeks, several attacks on the Bosniak population and their property have been recorded in the smaller BiH entity.
Furthermore, for the EUFOR leadership, the blockades of communications during the “There is a border” protests are apparently not a security threat either.
The past cooperation between the Ministry and EUFOR was also discussed and assessed as good, with the hope that it will continue in the same manner.
