Both Čović and Bosić want the state Ministry of Finance

The "serious" talks between coalition partners for forming government at the state level have not started yet. All previous ones were informal, over coffee, where they were testing each other's pulse, writes the Patria News Agency.

Leaders of SDA-HDZBIH-DF and the Alliance for Change (PDP-SDS-NDP) will sit down at the negotiating table next week to discuss the distribution of ministerial positions in the Council of Ministers of BiH.

For now, it is only known that the new state Prime Minister will be Denis Zvizdić (SDA).

However, even during informal meetings, it was possible to sense which party wants certain departments.

The biggest problems currently exist between Dragan Čović and Mladen Bosić, as both would rather take the Ministry of Finance than the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Otherwise, in previous practice when ministries were divided, it was done in a circle, with party leaders taking turns stating which department they wanted. This will be the case this time as well.
