Hurtić in Kozarac: Returnees highlighted problems that most hinder their normal lives

(Patria) - "I came to Kozarac with the intention of hearing your problems and trying to offer solutions for them. There are many challenges, at every step, and I believe it is not easy to cope with them," said Sevlid Hurtić, Minister of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, today during a meeting with returnees in Kozarac.

In conversation with Minister Hurtić, returnees highlighted the problems that most hinder their normal lives here, primarily those related to education and employment, especially in state institutions.

Farmers are also neglected, which is why many farmers are forced to close their farms.

They say that security problems are not uncommon either, and they are often afraid for their families and property. They expressed concern about the overall political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which ultimately affects the returnee population in the Republika Srpska entity.

They are afraid, they say, that the stay of returnees in this area is questionable because of all this.

Minister Hurtić emphasized that his goal is to spend his entire mandate to ensure that as many Bosniaks as possible are represented in state institutions and that the system begins to function regardless of party affiliation.
