Humanitarian Association "Ruku na srce": No child without a gift in 2021

Volunteers of the humanitarian association "Ruku na srce" are once again opening Santa's workshop and inviting students, schoolchildren, fellow citizens, representatives of companies, associations and sports collectives to join them, as together they will try to elicit as many children's smiles as possible and ensure that no child is left without a gift.

"No child without a gift" is a humanitarian project within which the Association "Ruku na srce" strives to provide New Year's gifts for children from families in need.

Over the past ten winters, more than 7,000 gifts have been distributed to preschool and school-aged children from the Sarajevo Canton and the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina within the project. This is the result of the exceptional effort and work of all the Association's volunteers, as well as the selfless support of numerous donors.

"We have achieved many successes this year, and now we are moving on to the crown of the year. We believe that the trust that fellow citizens have placed in us for years will not be lacking this time either. Everyone who wants to be a part of this winter magic can donate toys (not necessarily new, it's important that they are well-preserved), sweets, school supplies, or money. They can also make a gift themselves and brighten the start of the New Year for children whose parents cannot provide these small joys," said Adnan Lukač, president of the Association.

If epidemiological measures allow, gifts will be distributed this year with a New Year's play directed by the Association's volunteers, featuring Santa Claus and many fairytale heroes. Children will have the opportunity to participate in creative workshops, which are carefully prepared for them every year.

Donations can be delivered to several points this year. Every day from 09:30 to 22:00 at the Hub Homework premises (Kolodvorska St. 12) and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00 at the "Ruku na srce" Center in Dobrinja (Esada Pašalića St. 8).
