Hrenovica on his way out "removes heads" of all Lijanović's directors

Director of the Veterinary Station of Sarajevo Canton Senad Arnautović reveals in an interview with the Patria News Agency that the Minister of Economy of KS Emir Hrenovica initiated his dismissal solely because he is convinced that Arnautović works for the Party of Labour for Betterment (NSRzB), against whom the minister is taking revenge at the end of his term in the government of the strongest canton in FBiH.

Hrenovica initiated the dismissal of Arnautović from the head of the Veterinary Station of KS at the end of last year, accusing him of irregularities in his work. However, Arnautović reveals in an interview with the Patria agency that his dismissal is motivated by the personal interests of Minister Hrenovica, whom he cannot convince that he is not on the side of his fierce opponents from NSRzB, but merely a professional doing his job.

At the end of his term in the KS Government, Hrenovica initiated the dismissal of several directors of public companies in KS. Among them are the director of the company Agricultural Estate "Butmir", the director of the Veterinary Station of KS, and he announced the dismissal of two more directors by the end of his term. Insiders say that Hrenovica acted correctly in some decisions, but made significant mistakes in others.

NSRzB has made Hrenovica's life considerably difficult in recent years, which has led to the minister ending up in the hospital on several occasions. Therefore, now that he is at the end of his term in the KS Government, Hrenovica is taking revenge by removing all directors from public companies in KS whom he deems to be "players" of NSRzB.

Hrenovica came to the head of the Ministry of Economy of KS four years ago, precisely as a proposal from NSRzB, which was founded by the Lijanović brothers, tycoons from Široki Brijeg in Herzegovina. However, only a few months later, a rift occurred between Hrenovica and the party's leadership. Namely, due to disobedience, Lijanović's people activated the collection of a non-existent debt of 100,000 KM owed to Hrenovica, which he had pledged to the Lijanovićs before being appointed to the ministerial position, in case he did not follow their orders while in the KS government.

Hrenovica refused to pay the money, after which an uncompromising battle began between him and NSRzB.

The battle against Hrenovica on behalf of Lijanović is being waged by their main man in Sarajevo, Damir Čardžić, while Hrenovica is alone on the other side. People close to Hrenovica say that the minister no longer trusts anyone and is fighting alone. One of his tactics is to dismiss all directors of public enterprises in KS at the end of his term who were appointed by NSRzB or made their continued stay in their positions conditional on working for them.

- My dismissal is also motivated exclusively by the personal interests of Minister Emir Hrenovica. I realized that he is taking revenge on Damir Čardžić and NSRzB through my dismissal. I found myself between two fires, although I have nothing to do with either of them - says Arnautović.

- But he doesn't want to understand that - he adds.

Arnautović took over the Veterinary Station of KS at the beginning of last year, after the company fell into serious trouble. He was also an employee there before. He has worked for this once promising company for as long as 17 years, which is now on the brink of survival. He says he is one of its most educated employees and speaks several foreign languages.

Interestingly, some employees have suddenly supported Minister Hrenovica's intentions to dismiss Arnautović. Arnautović says these are the employees who have been pocketing the daily takings from the Station for years, using official vehicles for private purposes.
