Hrenovica paid 2.5 million KM, Sarajevo Canton once again owner of Vogosca's "Bags Holding"

The Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, headed by Emir Hrenovica, paid the Austrian company „Bags Holding“ about 2.5 million KM, after which Sarajevo Canton once again became the sole owner of the state-owned company „Bags-Energotehnika“ from Vogosca, which heats a large number of apartments and public buildings in this Sarajevo municipality, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

„Bags-Energotehnika“ has been in serious financial trouble for some time. They do not have money to procure energy sources, which is why the radiators in Vogosca are almost cold. A large number of employees of this company believe that the Canton should have found a better way to part with „Bags Holding“ and redirect the money to „Bags-Energotehnika“.

„Bags Holding“ is a company registered in Vienna, allegedly backed by Arabs. They bought „Bags-Energotehnika“ from Vogosca in 2002. However, due to unfulfilled obligations towards „Bags-Energotehnika“, the Sarajevo Canton initiated the termination of the contract with them. A court decision stipulated that „Bags Holding“ should be paid about 2.5 million KM, which they allegedly invested in the company, after which the KS once again became the owner of this firm, writes NAP.
