Hoteli Ilidža to open the most modern wellness center in BiH

The number of tourists visiting Sarajevo is constantly growing, writes the BiH news agency Patria. This can be seen primarily from the number of overnight stays that tourists achieve in Sarajevo hotels.

Hermina Aganović from the marketing department of one of the most luxurious Sarajevo hotels, “Hoteli Ilidža“, told the Patria agency that, considering the indicators of overnight stays in their magnificent hotels over the last five years, it is clear that "Hoteli Ilidža" has ten to 15 percent more overnight stays each year. This is very encouraging not only for their company but also for the entire city.

It is interesting, she says, that this year there has been an increase in overnight stays compared to last year even in the first week of July, which is traditionally a bit weaker than other months. Arabs stay the longest in Hoteli Ilidža, while Turks achieve more frequent overnight stays.

- Arabs take the longest packages of all guests visiting us, but if we look at the number of tourists passing through our hotels, then tourists from Turkey are in the first place - explains Aganović. A large number of tourists come to Sarajevo from Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, and recently our country has become increasingly interesting to Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese people.

- In August, we have a very large number of tourists who have already announced their arrival - adds Aganović.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has rich natural and cultural-historical potentials that are interesting to foreign tourists, primarily its rich national cuisine, natural lakes, rivers, and mountains, but also centuries-old cities.

However, Aganović says, hoteliers and travel agencies themselves have contributed the most to the growing number of foreign tourists in BiH, as they strive to follow global tourism trends.

- Hoteli Ilidža will open one of the largest and most beautiful wellness centers in BiH during the next month, which will offer types of massages that are also offered in the most famous hotels in the world. We will also have other facilities such as salt baths, which are quite popular worldwide - says Aganović, adding that BiH cuisine is one of the main assets of their hotel that should not be overlooked, but also that tourists can also enjoy international cuisine at their establishment.

- Don't forget that Hoteli Ilidža has healing sulfur water. Tourists travel thousands of kilometers for it. It is clear to you then why tourism in Sarajevo is on the rise - says Aganović, writes Patria.
