Hotel "Marriott Residence Inn" already looks magnificent

The Sarajevo hotel "Marriott Residence Inn" of the American global hotel chain "Marriott" which is being built in the very center of Sarajevo at Čobanija, should be completed by November this year, and a competition for hiring the necessary staff will be announced in September, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As stated by Osman Mešić, the site manager for this hotel, there are about 80 workers on the construction site daily, and the building's facade is in its final phase.

- Interior works are now intensifying, tiles are being laid, elevators are being installed, and utilities have been laid. We have already completed a model room, and all apartments will look like this – Mešić states.

The project for the construction of the „Marriott Residence Inn“ hotel is worth 15 million KM, and was created with the partner support of „Southeast Investment Company“ (SEIC). The hotel's capacity is 75 single-bed and 20 double-bed apartments with their own kitchen and bathroom. Each apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows, providing guests with a unique ambiance. On the fifth floor, i.e., the attic, a glass railing is being installed, and each apartment will have its own terrace section.

- The hotel consists of a ground floor, four floors, and an attic with a beautiful view of both sides of the city – Mešić states, emphasizing that an aggregate for alternative power supply will be installed on the hotel roof.

One of the interesting features of this hotel is the car elevator. As Mešić explained, a car from the main road enters the elevator, which lowers it into the underground garage with a capacity of about 30 spaces.

From the hotel roof, there is a view of another SEIC project, the residential complex „City Garden“, whose construction is nearing completion, with an investment value of 12 million KM. Meanwhile, the project for the construction of the residential building „Dvor“ at Marijin Dvor has already been completed.

- The residential-commercial building „Dvor“ was built 40 days ahead of schedule – Mešić said.

As we learn, these construction ventures will not be the last investment of this company in real estate development in BiH. Through investments, not only is construction activity engaged, but SEIC, by building residential projects, facilitates and encourages the arrival of wealthy investors and business people to Sarajevo and contributes to the economic growth of the country, writes Patria.
