Hollywood star Robert De Niro arrived in Sarajevo

Robert De Niro, the biggest star of this year's Sarajevo Film Festival, arrived in the capital of BiH around noon to receive the special award Honorary Heart of Sarajevo for lifetime achievement, reports Patria. He had lunch at the Vinoteka restaurant, but there were no statements for the media, although he briefly posed for photojournalists and waved to the gathered citizens.

Tonight, a remastered version of his great film "Taxi Driver", made in 1976 and directed by Michael Scorsese, will be screened in Sarajevo for the great actor from the A-list of Hollywood stars. 

According to the plan and schedule, De Niro will walk the red carpet in front of the National Theatre in Sarajevo, and will bow to the audience and receive the award at the Telemach Summer Cinema - Metalac, where the award will be presented to him. The Honorary Heart of Sarajevo for lifetime achievement will be awarded for the first time this year, at the 22nd SFF. 

De Niro will have the honor of receiving this truly valuable award for everything he has achieved in his 50-year career.
