Controversial Dutch politician Geert Wilders will appear in the general elections in that country next month with the slogan "The Netherlands Our Own Again", while the two main goals in the program of his party are "de-Islamization of the country and the Netherlands' exit from the EU", writes the Patria news agency.

Wilders is one of the most controversial politicians in the European Union, with quite radical views, which are entirely contrary to the principles of the European Union.

For the elections to be held on March 15, Wilders launched his election campaign with posters "Stop Islam, vote March 15 for PVV". The idea of this party was to cover trams in Rotterdam, one of the largest Dutch cities, with these posters. However, the request from PVV was not approved by the Rotterdamse Elektrische Tram (RET) company.

- We only place politically neutral advertisements on trams, which applies to all political parties - stated the RET spokesperson.

The possible appearance of trams with controversial posters was published on Wilders' Twitter profile.

According to current election polls, PVV will be the first or second party in the Netherlands, but as before, it will likely not have the support of other major parties to form a majority, writes Patria.
