Hodžić: Worker at ZOI '84 died from consequences of distress

Senad Hurem, a 48-year-old father of two minor children who was fired by Midhat Hubijar, director of ZOI '84, died from the consequences of a stroke, Alija Hodžić, president of the ZOI '84 Trade Union, told the BH News Agency Patria.

- Ten days ago, Zlatan Babić, who was on the Commission for the care of redundant workers, passed away. He disagreed with the decisions being made, and his heart couldn't take it. And now Senad, who agreed to work as a waiter at Malo Polje on Igman to feed his family – says Hodžić.

According to Hodžić, Senad suffered three consecutive strokes in one night, from which he died.

- Distress is to blame for everything; the man was a master at Zetra, and this is what it led him to. Hubijar appointed his close friend as the manager at Igman – says Hodžić.

Hurem's funeral was held yesterday, and according to Hodžić, the workers collected money among themselves to give to his wife and children.

The administrative building from which ZOI '84 vacated has not yet been leased out, and an increasing number of tenants are leaving Zetra because there is no heating.
