Hodžaj: Tariffs achieved their effect, they should be abolished for 120 days

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hodžaj assessed today that the tariffs on goods from Serbia and BiH have achieved the desired effect.

However, he added that the tax should be suspended so as not to damage relations with the US, reports "RTK2".

According to him, the tax has achieved its effect as it has hit the Serbian economy.

"The fact is that the tax is damaging our relations with America, harming our relations with the EU, and blocking dialogue. We think the tax should be suspended for a period of 120 days, which will enable a final agreement. If that does not happen, then the tax should be reinstated," said Hodžaj.

He assessed that it is in the interest of both sides to continue the dialogue and not block further negotiations.
