Will the FBiH Parliament discuss the procurement and use of official vehicles tomorrow?

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At tomorrow's session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, the Law on the Use and Procurement of Official Passenger Vehicles should be considered, if the delegates support the proposal to amend the agenda, which is a proposal by independent delegate Adis Arapović. 

He says that the adoption of this Law is no longer a technical, but a value-based and principled issue.

"Due to numerous examples of misuse of official vehicles for private purposes, due to a series of evidence that official vehicles are purchased and used irresponsibly and irrationally according to one's whim, including family, political, pre-election and similar needs, due to the Government's refusal to regulate this area, waste, arrogance and neglect of public property, this must be stopped," he states. 

Although the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, Mirsad Zaimović (SDA), for reasons unknown to him, did not place the Law on the Use and Procurement of Official Passenger Vehicles, which was submitted long ago, on the agenda of tomorrow's session, Arapović requested an amendment to the agenda so that this Law could also be discussed.

"I hope that my fellow delegates, guided by the public interest and a multitude of arguments, will support placing the Law on the agenda, and then its final adoption. We are now literally two steps away from adopting the Law and permanently regulating this entire area. I believe that the benefit that this Law brings will outweigh narrow party or any private reasons to vote against it," Arapović stated.
