The BiH Presidency, a day later, established the Draft Law on the Budget of BiH Institutions and BiH's International Obligations for 2024 and, as the authorized proposer, sent it to the BiH Parliament for consideration and adoption.

The BiH Council of Ministers unanimously established the Draft Law on the Budget of BiH Institutions for 2024, with corrections at the session relating, among other things, to an increase in the budget of the BiH Ministry of Defence by KM 1,750,000 compared to the initially planned funds, and an increase in the budget of the BiH Presidency by KM 500,000.

Total revenues, receipts, and financing of BiH institutions within the 2024 budget amount to KM 1,355,400,000, which is an increase of KM 40 million compared to 2023.

Total expenditures of BiH institutions amount to KM 1,355,400,000 and are three percent higher compared to the previous year, while the servicing of BiH's external debt amounts to KM 1,430,733,053.

Total expenditures of BiH institutions and servicing of BiH's external debt in the 2024 budget amount to KM 2,786,133,053, which is an increase of KM 224,766,691 or nine percent compared to 2023.
