Emergency telephone session: After the Supervisory Board did not dismiss Damir Vejo, the Government dismissed the Supervisory Board

Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and Minister of Energy and Mining of FBiH Nermin Džindić, after their attempt to dismiss Damir Vejo, director of Unis Group, failed because the Supervisory Board refused to act unlawfully, organized an emergency telephone session and dismissed the Supervisory Board, reports the Patria news agency.

- The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's emergency session held by telephone, gave prior consent for the dismissal of members of the Supervisory Board of UNIS-Group d.o.o. Ilidža before the expiration of their mandate. It also gave prior consent for the appointment of Enes Bikodušić, Amer Salihović, and Mirza Emirhafizović as acting members of the Supervisory Board of this company until the completion of the tender procedure, but for a maximum of three months.

The Federal Government also adopted a Decision to convene an extraordinary Assembly of the company UNIS-Group d.o.o. Ilidža for August 25, 2017, and authorized Stipo Buljan to participate and vote at this assembly – according to the statement from the Government of FBiH.

The Government of FBiH, at Novalić's request, gave consent on July 13 for the Supervisory Board of Unis Group to dismiss the director, but the Supervisory Board did not dismiss Vejo.

According to sources from the Government of FBiH, Novalić aims to bring in people from Cimos (Novalić once worked at Cimos) and create infrastructure to establish a closed circle when his mandate expires.

- Novalić appointed Šaban Rizvić to BNT, then brought in his own director Adis Ikanović. Now no one rules at BNT except Šaban. The elimination of Damir Vejo from Unis Group will jeopardize a multi-million dollar contract with Saudi Arabia, which Vejo secured – our source reveals.

The Federal Government gave prior consent to the Supervisory Board of the company "UNIS-GROUP" d.o.o. Ilidža for the dismissal of director Vejo, due to the non-adoption of the company's annual report and loss of owner confidence, as well as the appointment of Mirsad Siručić as acting director until the completion of the tender procedure, but for a maximum period of six months.

However, the Supervisory Board determined that these claims were inaccurate, as it is not true that the report was not adopted. The Supervisory Board of Unis Group consisted of Jasmina Pašić, President - Mirza Emirhafizović, member - Hasan Mahmutović, member (on February 11, 2015, the Government gave consent for the dismissal of Hasan Mahmutović before the end of his mandate, due to loss of confidence by the capital owner, and simultaneously proposed the acting appointment of Ilijaz Čamdžić).
