Emergency Session: Krivaja-Mobel and BNT Hidraulika Workers Can Retire

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The FBiH Government, in its capacity as the Assembly of the Development Bank of the Federation of BiH, approved at today's telephone session the distribution of part of the funds generated from the sale of companies under the jurisdiction of the Privatization Agency in FBiH for the payment of PIO/MIO contributions in the total amount of 125,881 KM for 48 workers of PD „Krivaja-Mobel" d.o.o. - in bankruptcy, Zavidovići, who have met the conditions for retirement but cannot achieve it due to unpaid PIO/MIO contributions.

The funds are deposited in the transaction account of a special fund of the Development Bank of the Federation of BiH, opened with the Central Bank of BiH, and will be transferred to the account of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Institute (PIO/MIO). An integral part of the decision is the list of workers whose service will be credited through this means.

Furthermore, funds were approved for the payment of contributions for the retirement of six workers of the company BNT Hidraulika - in bankruptcy d.d. Novi Travnik in the total amount of 87,716 KM. An integral part of this decision is also the list of employees to whom the decision applies.

The funds will be allocated from the budget of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry from the position of "Current Transfers and Other Current Expenditures - Subsidies to Private Companies and Entrepreneurs". The decision was made based on a public call, and in accordance with the Program for the utilization of these funds.

For participation in the work and decision-making of the assemblies of business companies, the FBiH Government today authorized Marinko Bošnjak (Aluminij d.d. Mostar), Fahrudin Smailagić (Unis Ginex d.d. Goražde), and Amir Halilčević (RMU "Banovići" d.d.
