Thousands of participants in a protest march in Sarajevo demand justice and truth!

(Patria) - Exactly at noon, thousands of citizens gathered at the National Museum of BiH, in close proximity to the tram station where 23-year-old student Erdoan Morankić tragically died.

On the steps of the National Museum of BiH, a young man spoke on behalf of the organizers, stating that any violent behavior, balaclavas, or alcohol consumption would not be tolerated, and they called on the police to remove such individuals from the protest. A large number of uniformed and plainclothes police are present.

"Elementary and high school students are with us, do not push, let's protect our children. Friends, thank you for coming in such large numbers," said one of the young men.

Around 12:15 PM, the column of participants began to move along the main road towards the KS Government, KS Prosecutor's Office, and the Memorial to the Murdered Children of Sarajevo. Participants are carrying whistles, banners with slogans like "Justice," "Truth," "Your Hands Are Bloody," and numerous other messages...

Trade union members, university professors, war veterans, actors, presenters, numerous citizens, and parents with children joined the protests today.

At the head of the column are several individuals holding a banner "Youth Killed by the System," displaying pictures of Dženan Memić, David Dragičević, Džejla Drpić, Erdoan Morankić, Džena Gađun...

Gatherings are also taking place today in Zenica and Tuzla.

DEMANDS

- We demand immediate remediation of evident security risks,

- Appointment of professional and lawful leaders to all vacant positions in relevant institutions,

- Introduction of clear criteria for the allocation of social assistance, free coupons, and textbooks, so that aid goes exclusively to those in need, not to the children of officials and high-income individuals who do not require such support, and that these funds be directed towards priorities and more useful purposes,

- Budget revision according to priorities, security, and redirection of part of the funds for the renewal of the vehicle fleet and regular maintenance,

- Publicly announced plan with all names of responsible persons, concrete measures, and clearly defined deadlines of 30/60/90 days, which will be accessible to all citizens.
