Thousands in RS homeless, while Dodik's daughter moves into a 350 sqm apartment

To earn enough for their own apartment and an expensive car, citizens even in the wealthiest countries in the world have to work for years or take out a "fat" loan from commercial banks.

However, if you are the son or daughter of one of the leading politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina, you can get all of that very quickly.

Thus, for example, at a time when many citizens in the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska were left homeless after the severe floods in May this year, and do not know where they will spend the winter, sources close to the Dodik family told the BiH news agency Patria (NAP) that the daughter of the President of Republika Srpska, Gorica Dodik-Trišić, will very soon move into a luxurious apartment of an incredible 350 square meters, right in the center of Banja Luka.

And, for peace in the house, Milorad Dodik previously had to treat his son Igor as well, to whom he bought the latest Mercedes SUV, which in the basic package exceeds the price of 100,000 KM.

No less extravagant, he says, are the children of the state Minister of Finance and Dodik's party colleague Nikola Špirić. Špirić's son Aleksandar drives an expensive Audi Q7 SUV.

- If Bosnia and Herzegovina were a legal country, such an SUV should be too big a financial undertaking even for his father Špirić, let alone for his son Aleksandar - said a source close to political circles in Banja Luka, writes NAP.
